Marcia has a background in Social Work and working therapeutically with families. She has practiced professionally both in the Caribbean and the United Kingdom with persons with disabilities, mental health difficulties and families in crisis, to name a few.

 

In addition to her professional work, Marcia has also volunteered at her local church in the areas of pastoral care and counselling, and outreach to older persons and vulnerable families. Marcia has a passion for ageing well, healthy ageing and ageing with intentionality.

 

Marcia’s personal experience of caring for older relatives, including her own mother, provided her with first-hand experience of supporting older adults to live their later years in a healthy and dignified manner.

Natasha worked for more than a decade in adults’ social services in London, England, initially providing administrative support in home care teams, before moving on to practise as a Junior Social Worker.

Natasha enjoys working with older persons to ensure they have the tools to express their wishes and to live well. She has first-hand experience of supporting an older relative who has a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Dementia.

In addition to her social care experience, Natasha brings her passion and skill as an aromatherapist who helps people to regain or maintain their health and well-being through the use of essential oils either on their own or in massage.
